Springtime in my garden!

After the tulips and daffodils fall off, the daisies take over, the spring clematis show their stuff and the hosta push everything else aside to spread their leaves.  My pond and rock garden are finally done and attract more birds than the feeders at times. I've been surprised more than I like by snakes and frogs this year, but they are God's creatures, too.

Click each pic for a closer look, but careful the bees don't sting you!

Picture perfect daisies

Different varieties of Clematis bloom different times of the year. The spring purples are beautiful, don't you think!

An ideal rock garden plant. But I don't remember what it's called!

No matter how often I divide this hosta, he comes out bigger every year - and I love it!

These daisies originated in Mom's Bucyrus garden.

After being transplanted 3 times, they still take over in spring.

Mickey knows I'm the only one who digs in my garden, but he loves to watch.

The ponds and rock garden were my project last summer. Lots of work, but well worth it.

Friend Stephanie and I transplated this tree from the woods three years ago. Can you identify it?

This seating area in the back corner was my 2001 project. It's a nice hide away.

No matter what I do, the woods behind the fence keep finding their way in.

Look closely and you'll see one of my many unexpected visitors - a garter snake (I hope).

Please stop back soon to see how my garden grows this summer.
